About the artist

I was born in Janów Lubelski. I studied at the Institute of Fine Arts at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where I earned my diploma in Painting under Jan Popek.

I have taken part in some fifteen solo and group exhibitions. My paintings and drawings are held in private collections in Poland and abroad. Those that have remained with me are presented on this site.

I have divided them into three periods: 1979–1990, 2009–2017 and 2018–2021. Each of these periods has its own composition, palette and subject matter.

In the works shown here I used oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas and mixed media. I am an independent artist. I have been painting for over forty years, and it is my whole life.
